Brompton Urban Challenge Toronto 2016 with Curbside Cycle
Posted on 20 April 2016
Hello Brompton Riders of Canada. We are very excited to announce the 2nd annual Brompton Urban Challenge in Toronto on August 27th, 2016. This year we are running amok in the downtown and discovery districts (and more). We'll meet up at the statue of King Edward VII's horse in Queen's Park at 10AM and will return to the very same horse for a picnic around 1:00 pm, more games, and some prizes.
The Brompton Urban Challenge is two-wheeled folding bike adventure in Toronto. Challenges and clues will be hidden around the city at a number of check points, and you will record your successes by photograph and then share them with the wider world by social media or email. There will be a variety of prizes for contestants, but the most important thing will be to have fun! Racing, Scavenging, and Folding - the Brompton Urban Challenge has a bit of everything for you and your team.
Participants can either register as a team or will be put into a team on the day of the event. All folding bikes are welcome, each team must include at least one Brompton bike.
This event will take place rain or shine, so dress accordingly.
