Editors note: this was all a bit ridiculous, but how could we not resist a bank trying to teach people that very Dutch belief that spending money is a way of saving money, like buying a bike! (A good bike!) It's something we still believe in today.

How long have you been in the neighbourhood?

We started 15 years ago by the side of a curb in a tent. We wanted to create a more dignified view of bikes, more than a toy, but a true transportation device for everyday use.

What makes Curbside Cycles a true Saver's friend?

Bikes are healthy, fun and liberating. And way cheaper than cars. We listen to our customers so we can offer solutions that increase value. We brought in low-maintenance Dutch-style bikes 4 years ago and are still the only distributors in Canada. We are also friendly to entry-level bike users. We make Curbside Cylcle a place where everyone can feel comfortable to talk, versus a place that is stuffy and focused on niche bike tribes. 

What is value?

Helping someone buy right the first time. If you buy a cheap bike you'll spend on repairs in the future. If you can buy a bike that is maintenance free you create a win-win situation.
