Most bike bag companies in North America are divided into one of two camps: high-performance touring or commodified afterthoughts. That's strange, because most of us need a high-quality, thought-out bag for groceries and work - and very few of us are riding our bikes across Canada. Things are very different in Holland, where bags are designed for city cyclists and take city cyclists seriously. We started importing Basil from Holland in 2007 and we love the quality, the prints, the careful details, and the pricing, which is remarkably reasonable.
