Brompton Builder

There are two ways to get yourself a Brompton, and both are custom.

Let us explain. 

Brompton only builds custom bikes. That means the bikes you see for sale on our website or sales floor are actually custom but built to Curbside spec. The Brompton's on our salesfloor are customized on a decade of experience. The bikes we sell attempt to give you all the basic features you need - features that often cost significantly more if you were to upgrade later. That said, there are many options we don't often build into our custom builds - such as titanium extremities or dynamo lighting. That's why about 30% of the bikes we sell are custom.

Ordering a custom Brompton takes about five weeks, and you get exactly what you want and no, there is no extra surcharge for a custom bike. Brompton's entire "economy of scale" is built on mass-customization rather than mass production. That's another reason they're so darn special. 

The Brompton bike builder is the best way to explore your Brompton bike build (see below, takes a moment to load). We strongly recommend saving your build and sending us the CR Code that the Brompton builder will generate. This helps us ask come back to you with the right questions - since we find most Brompton sales are the result of collaboration. When you're ready, enter the CR code into our deposit page and we'll place the order with Brompton immediately and advise you of projected lead-time.
