Most bike stores don't take folding bikes all that seriously. At Curbside, we're a city bike store, and that means we understand the commuter who uses a bike for transportation, not strictly leisure.

For a folding bike to excel. it needs to have three attributes. If it's ridden in the city, it has to be safe and stable. If it's stowed on a train, it has to be small. And if you're transferring from folded to unfolded (or vice versa) several times a day, it better be easy and fast. No other bike rides, folds, or transports like a Brompton. These features are equally valuable to our customers who aren't commuters, and who take their bike on trips, whether by train, plane, or automobile (or boat!).
