The Nihola B2B is a bike that we designed in collaboration with Nihola in Copenhagen. Its lockable lid doubles as the perfect tabletop. This bike easily accepts an electric assist, and at only 70lb, it's half the weight of competing bikes. Best of all? Just the front wheels steer, not the whole box, so the ratio of handling and stability is perfectly balanced.

Hershey Chocolate
THE DESIGN:
1 Babboe Trike with a completely new, custom-made box designed for easy snacking.
THE INITIAL PROBLEM
With the advent of legalized recreational cannabis use, Hershey saw a clever way to market their legendary Oh Henry bars to those who had "recreational hunger" after they got high. With a new bar coyly named the 4:25, the campaign cleverly made good fun out of the "munchies.". But, how to take this tongue-in-cheek campaign to the streets?
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with our cabinetry team to design and build a totally custom box that could deliver snacks to all the places cars can't go but where people like to hang out - city parks, waterfront paths, and festivals.
Redpath Sugar
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Redpath Sugar is one of the defining structures on Toronto’s old waterfront. With new condos and smart urban destinations appearing across its dock, Redpath wanted to connect its industrial heritage with the emerging residential area outside its gates.
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with Redpath to build a custom box for Redpath’s cargo bike that features grab-and-go storage and the option for a folding-leaf table-top. The bike, nicknamed “Babs,” was part of Redpath’s highly engaging “Acts of Sweetness” campaign that visited locations across Toronto and Southern Ontario.
Durham College
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Durham College wanted a way to engage students on issues of health and wellness but needed to do so in a compelling way while meeting them where they hang out.
OUR SOLUTION
Durham College needed a large table-top with ample storage beneath. This bike is similar to the Babboe Retail Bike #1 with a fold-out leaf and two legs that store in the box (when riding) that quickly attach to the fold-out leaf in seconds.
Gallery Stratford
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Gallery Stratford is based in the artsy town of Stratford, Ontario - home to Canada's largest Shakespeare festival and full of great shops and galleries. Gallery Stratford wanted a fun way to bring art into the community, but it had to be mobile!
OUR SOLUTION
Why not make the bike the art itself? We sold Gallery Stratford a standard Babboe Transporter and shipped it to their front door completely assembled and tuned. From there, they painted the bike in black chalkboard paint so that kids (and adults) could have fun making art that rolls all over town.
Spacing Magazine
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Spacing Magazine is a critically-acclaimed Canadian magazine that focuses on urban infrastructure, architecture, and public space. Spacing needed a brand vehicle that could host pop-ups, visit events, and sell their magazines and cool merch in a compelling and inviting way.
OUR SOLUTION
One of our first clients, we helped develop a mobile retail kiosk that – using fold-out leafs – could double the width of the cargo bike and offer generous retail space. The two table legs are stored inside the box when on the move.
Aurora Public Library
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Aurora Public Library wanted to take their bookmobile truck off the curb and into city parks and everywhere people hang out but cars can't go.
OUR SOLUTION
Our design team adapted the Babboe Trike box with a gas-damped lid that could move and up and down quickly to grab storage beneath without the risk of crushed fingers. Two leafs fold out to the side and fold up flush while riding. A brilliant success, the bicycle Bookmobile has been a hit and can be seen in the summertime at parks and events.

Union Chicken, Toronto ON
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Based in the tight confines of Toronto's Union Station, Union Chicken needed a way to attract and engage hungry commuters, and an events vehicle to take to the streets.
OUR SOLUTION
We worked with our team to custom build a spacious counter-top that could pack away easily and engage customers with a novel brand statement that simply can't be missed.
United Way, Vancouver BC
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
With a plan to engage one million "acts of local love" in the lower mainland by 2015, the United Way wanted a vehicle to promote this campaign while showing some local love themselves!
OUR SOLUTION
Designed to hand out artisanal berry popsicles, we needed to follow local legislation requiring electrical insulation for all frozen or cold consumables. Working with our team, we built a cooled insulated box, battery storage, and a custom canopy that catches lots of attention! Another great ice cream bike too.
Marriott Hotel, Toronto ON
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Toronto's downtown Marriot needed a way to engage clients walking into front-of-the-hotel, on the street, and at events.
OUR SOLUTION
Countertop space was an absolute requirement here so our team designed a fold-out leaf that extended the length of the bike. This freed up the countertop space on top of the box for a sink and hot plate while allowing generous storage beneath.
Kichissippi Beer, Ottawa ON
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Probably the most breathtaking example of where imagination can take you. Kichissippi Beer is a great micro-brew out of Ottawa that wanted to take it's beer to the streets, whether that was weddings, events, or what-have-you.
OUR SOLUTION
Kichissippi worked with our partners Tall Tree Cycles in Ottawa to design what must win the award for most innovative cargo bike ever. Featuring a real oak keg, custom CO2 canister, solid oak table with beer tap and a box in the back for glassware this design only demonstrates that the sky is the limit.
Commune Coffee, Tampa FL
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Commune’s goal was to build and integrate community by curating special events, each shared over a great cup of coffee. Problem was, they didn’t want to just be in one place, they wanted to seamlessly integrate from event to another, and from one neighbourhood to another.
OUR SOLUTION
Working alongside a bike store in Tampa, we sold three cargo bikes to Commune and Co. While we have the internal resources to consult, build, brand and ship your custom project, we can also ship the bikes (assembled or unassembled) as raw material for your own creative team.
Nitro Trike, Orange County CA
COFFEE ON THE GO
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Nitro Coffee wanted a quality, investment-grade bike made that could engage customers with Nitro Coffee without constant re-ups for freezer bags or supplies.
OUR SOLUTION
Orange County is a big place and also very hot. Nitro Coffee needed a solution that could visit multiple locations without visiting home base in between for more coffee or dry-ice/freezer bags. That meant a seriously insulated box with room for supplies like beans and water. This design would make a great ice-cream bike too.

Nestle Foods, Across Canada
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Nestle needed a clever way to meet millenial consumers where they hung out so they could engage them (in a fun way!) with their super-hip, low-carb (and very tasty) bubbly water.
OUR SOLUTION
Part of much larger campaign that also featured two Toyota Prius cars, this was a big-budget campaign meant to make a serious impact. The theme was 'bubbles' and we worked with our team to custom design a bubble shaped lid along with a bubble-blower mounted in the back to attract maximum attention.

THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Westbank is a large, socially-engaged developer based in Vancouver BC whose properties include the Shangri-La Hotel and many iconic properties. While developing a new cycling-friendly building, Westbank wanted an engaged face-to-face brand vehicle that represented the values of the development and the corporation itself.
OUR SOLUTION
With time and cost as a factor, we worked with our graphic designer to create a high impact solution. By choosing to vinyl wrap a standard Babboe Big we built a highly engaging brand vehicle that required very little customization and was very low cost to set up.
Alight Solutions, San Diego CA
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
Alight Solutions is a large Illinois based company that provides nationwide Human Capital and Management Consulting. They wanted a noticeable way to stand out in a trade-show full of cookie-cutter booths.
OUR SOLUTION
We recommended a Babboe Transporter and worked with Alight's graphic designer to print and wrap the box in vinyl. From here we assembled the box to the bike and then palletized the bike and shipped the bike fully tuned and ready to the Trade Show delivery doors in San Diego.
Obrigado Coconut Water - Across Canada
THE DESIGN:

THE INITIAL PROBLEM
With summer in full swing, Obrigado was looking for a fun and intimate way to enage thirsty customers with their tasty coconut water.
OUR SOLUTION
With a tight budget, Obrigado was considering a fully custom and insulated box but opted for an out-of-the-box Babboe Transporter which they filled with ice cubes and loaded with samples. Because the Babboe Transporter uses marine-grade wood there is no fear of the ice causing water damage, and with a quick vinyl wrap, this bike was ready to go in a flash.
Foodora - Across Canada

With increasing competition, Foodora desired a series of personally engaging mobile billboards to intimately target demographics where they live/hang out, whether parks, city streets and events across Canada.
OUR SOLUTION
Since time was of the essence, we suggested the Babboe Transporter with a vinyl wrap. We provided all specs on the box to Foodora's graphic designer and assembled-and-shipped the final results to markets in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal
Fjallraven - Toronto
THE DESIGN:

Fjallraven is an aspirational outdoor brand from Sweden with high fashion street-cred. To build awareness of their new Toronto Flagship store they needed to meet their consumers where they hang and engage them in a fun way. Bonus points if they could get a unmistakable sandwich board and events bike too!
OUR SOLUTION
With a short timeline this project was as quick to produce as it is high-impact. The Fjallraven bike is an out-of-the-box Babboe Transporter with a vinyl wrap that our team helped produce with the Fjallraven's team.
Big Rock Brewery - Toronto
THE DESIGN:

After purchasing an Icycle Tricycle brand bike that upon delivery was deemed unsafe (cheap quality frame and box, department-store quality drivetrain and brakes that couldn't possibly stop a 130lb bike + rider ) Big Rock approached us for a better solution.
