Planning a long tour with your Brompton Electric bike? If you're covering tons of ground or your route doesn't allow for a lunchtime battery recharge at a coffee shop, you might want to bring an extra battery along for the ride.
The Brompton Electric Battery provides 300Wh of juice for your adventures. Charging from empty to full in just 4 hours, the battery has a minimal weight penalty of 5 lbs that can easily be carried in the City Bag Large or a backpack. A built-in USB port allows you to charge a phone or other small device while en route, and the LED lights on the top of the battery keep you informed about remaining power and assist setting.
The battery must be used in conjunction with the Essentials Bag or City Bag Large due to the internal frame and connection points integral to the bags. Due to its 300Wh power capacity it is not permitted on airplanes.
