The Genuine Brompton Front Carrier Block - sometimes referred to as the FCB, this custom designed hard plastic block allows you to mount specially designed bags and baskets onto the front of your Brompton.
It has been designed so that when the bike is in the towing position, your bag becomes a shopping cart, and then when you ride home it is completely independent of the steering meaning your weighty shopping won't affect your ride. Neat!
The block mounts directly to the front of the Brompton main frame using two 4mm Allen key bolts and incorporates a spring-loaded release mechanism allowing your Brompton Bag to be pulled off in less than a second. Now you can carry stuff on your Brompton, not your back - which makes the ride home that much better.

Brompton is the only company we've seen that answers all three criteria - and believe us, we've tried every brand out there. If a bike is going to unfold to a large footprint (which takes the twitch out) then it is unfolding to a bigger bike - and by all logic, a bigger bike unfolded would be a bigger bike folded.
